Client Manager (York Office)
What the job involves
- Managing and preparing accounts for a portfolio of clients across various sectors.
- Preparation of company/individual tax returns.
- Review of bookkeeping.
- VAT returns and offering advice where necessary.
- Billing, fee quotes and renewals and review debtors and WIP.
- Hands on exposure working with clients on a regular basis.
- Managing workflow of team members.
- Attract new clients and contribute to the success of the firm.
- Working effectively within the wider team, including supervision and development of junior members.
What we are looking for
- Experience in practice of working as a Client Manager/Senior Accountant.
- Form of accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, or qualified by experience).
- You will be confident when it comes to advising clients and seek to build long-term relations by understanding their business and adding value.
- You will have a track record as a team leader and enjoy managing, developing and celebrating your team’s success.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Technically proficient in all areas of general accounting.
- Experience of working with an accountancy practice.

Senior/Semi-Senior Accountant
What the job involves
- Working autonomously, you will be preparing accounts for a range of clients including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
- Preparation of personal and corporation tax returns.
- Reviewing VAT returns and bookkeeping.
- Supervision of junior team members.
What we are looking for
- Experience of working with an accountancy practice.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Able to work as part of a wider team.
- Either qualified by experience, part qualified/qualified with ACA, ACCA or AAT.
